Insurance,
2 new tyres,
Dogbone mount,

My cars at Birchdown as we speak having:
Service,
Mount fitted
Tyres fitted
New Brake caliper.
And a random knocking noise fixed

Think i need a beer.

Expensive, but could have been worse if taken to Renault as most people not "in the know" would do buddy!

Just be pleased you have enough nouse to shop around for tyres and insurance, so have technically saved yourself money!

Yeah my quote from Greenlight was incredible TBH, other well known ones basically said no way can we match that! I even got Greenlight to double check the price.

Got some Hankook V12s to try for my tyres.

Join the club, i have a mate of mine giving my car a FULL service including belts, engine mounts, pads etc for £500! He works for Renault so granted i get it a little cheaper than normal but hey its still a big wad of cash!

lol alright showoff yeah its a lot, but tbh its not a bad quote considering i only have 1 years no claims due to not needing my own policy before october last year....jus looking forward to it going down again next year

I wouldn't touch Greenlight with a barge pole, had a really bad experience with them.

Shopping around pays real benefits. I pay £420 a year on the elise and that includes six trackdays! Best the mainstream insurers could do was £800 without the level of cover.
