Expensive month

  Clio 182 cup'd
2x front tyres
Rear discs and pads
repair to brake line
cv boot
6 months tax

£470 in a month

Coming up

2x exhaust hangers
Wipers
new fog light

£50ish I reckon

Then 1400 miles to go until the belts are due, so probably get them done in a month or so.

Bad times!

had insurance last month, had two new tyres for the front this month, will need a new one for the back shortly, and needed the tracking done (reason for the fronts going!) but they wouldn't do it until I get the FOS shock replaced (and although they only said one, i know i should really get both done!) btw does anyone know roughly how much it should cost to replace, i was quoted £190 there, but gonna ring around a few places I think first, defo can't get both done at that! parts are only £35 ish... wish I had the equipment, or storage for equipment

I've had a bad month...

Car - £1500
Tax - £200
Rear shock absorber - £60
Headlight bulbs - £20
Engine work (pistons, cylinder head work, cambelt kit) - £1300

So the last month has cost me £2080 and that is before I've finished as I have just ordered a BMC carbon induction kit (£200), some new lowering springs and maybe 4 new Toyo tyres (£130) although I think these might have to wait until next month now!

  172 - 249bhp @ the wheels
Know how the OP feels, my car has been off the road for a month due to a catalogue of faults and I'm basically hoping the unfinished map is good enough to pass on emissions... but either way another £400+ needs spending after all this just to have it mapped and finished properly. First time I have actually considered selling up... E39 M5's are tempting once again

Picked up 17poo yesterday... Already have had to spend money on it lol :S
Tracking done = £20
Finding out one of the alloys are buckled and therefore having to fork out for some more (when i can find some) = Priceless, atm...
