external hard drives is this possible

right running short of sapce on the pc so thinking about getting an external hard drive.

can you stick movies on this and them transfer them to mini sd cards for use on a psp without a laptop when on the move?

im sure they make something like that fro ipods so ya might be better of getting ipod to back up ya stuff then get the gadget that lets you transfer pics and movies to it without laptop or pc

I'd say no, you would need a GUI to select what you want to transfer the other way, this HD just acts a dump for the memory/camera attached.

Possible if the program was written, I have seen 4GB cards for the PSP though, is this not big enough?

if u mean yer normal films u use on pc then send them deirect to psp no , i believe u have to have the right resolution and fps for them to work , also that will just be a card reader + hd not a stadalone item .

yer dave u can get 4gb cards but at a price

a psp can act as a lot of things if yer good at programming , as someones allready put win 95/98 on one , down side is the 5-10min boot time
