Im fairly sure. Mine was doing the same, but picked up a second hand what cheap from a member on the forum. Try the scrap yards, worth replacing as igot annoyed with people always saying its wrong 
just take the cover off, swap them over, connect wires, heat shrink DONE
EDIT: Give it a nice rub and play with it, sometimes cures it
