Extreme Pack = Cup Pack? ...

I have searched around and can't seem to find a firm answer on this.

I'm trying to find out if my 182 has the cup susspension pack as I'm pretty sure it does because it has the darker wheels. It also has the cup spoiler but never had the splitter (which I have now added).

It's unlikely that someone would just add the darker wheels so I phoned Renault and got a print out of what the car left the factory with.

Nothing is really stands out reference to cup packs but it does say "Extreme Pack Supplement" as one of the listed items.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the extreme pack was and included. I take it that it could be the title that was given to the cups packs in some form?

Have you altered the suspension in anyway? if not then I believe Cup packed 182s sit slightly lower than non cup packed 182s in standard form.

i understood the cup pack to simply be the additional option of you guessed it the cup pack...

extreme pack? isnt this onyl for 1.4's etc?

I havn't changed anything and it does look fairly low but don't have anything to compare it with. I am meeting a up with a few people off here tommorrow so hopefully they'll be able to tell. Just trying to get a 100% firm answer on what I actually have so I can order some new parts.

Extreme pack is what Renault call it when you have both the suspension and spoiler packs I believe.

Also, as for it being lower with the suspension pack, its only 3mm lower. So you'll never notice.

Take the wheels off and measure the hub spacing. Thats the only way to be certain.

Thanks for the input, this is what I was thinking. Going to take a wheel off at the weekend and take a look!

I doubt you'll notice, i had a cup packed titanium 182, My old man has a non cup packed LY 182, Parked next to each other you couldn't tell the difference bar the colour of the wheels... 3mm is nothing and hub spacing is minimal too.... Tape measure is the way forward.....
