i work at tesco, went to work this morning at tesco as usual, have just come out to find a trolley in the side of my passenger door.........has left a F*UCKING DENT , am furious its about the size of a 2 pence piece right on the crease.

am gonna see if i can claim on tesco....

do you think i could push it out from the inside or shall i get a dent removal company to sort it even though im short on money

That sucks m8. Me and the missus work at Morrisons and someone reversed into her car on Monday. The boot had a big dent in it, number plate came off, lights for the number plate also popped out. Managed to repair it all myself except for the dent which i pushed about 90% of it out and looks ok.

Supermarkets are fooking aweful places to park, i park as far away as i can and take two bays every time.

Sorry to hear about that - but Tesco has no responsibility for the way its customers use their trolleys in the car park. There will be big signs saying "cars parked at owners risk". Best thing to do is to cycle/bus to work if you can (miles cheaper), or park as far from everyone as you can.

this is the reason why I never go shopping in the 172 or any good car I have owned.

We have always had a old banger for things such as this, currently a citroen AX.

I am so carfull in car parks and it really annoys me when i see people banging doors into other peoples cars. Ive had a go at people when i see it and usually shout "thank god Im not parked next to that pr*ck". most of them dont know what i am on about until I tell them what they have done.

I had a trolley go into my xr2 and smash the spot light, I went inside to tell them that there was glass on the floor, and they paid for a new spot light out of good will.

Youd have thought supermarket manufacturers could put a clear plastic bump strips on the fronts and sides of trolleys to stop this happening - I imagine the number of people who get dents in doors would be somewhat reduced.

well just went back up there and filled out an customer accident form that has just been posted, one of my neighbours has had the same and claimed so i will speak to him to.

should be anle to claim hopefully, i am in the south west area so cant call your mate JPW172 but cheers anyway, will have to put it on the credit card if i want it done before FCS

spoke to a neighbour bout his incident and he said it took a couple of months but most was down to the store not posting the info....glad i posted it straight away...

I have just stepped through the door after a trip to our local Tesco, the type of people that come in are unreal.

Some person had parked their car diagonally in a space but the biggest joke was the fact that is was actually against another car, the owner was standing there in utter disbelief.

Then 30 seconds later were pulling out and some guy walks passed the front of the car and give me and my girlfriend the dirtiest look. I happened to have the window down so commented on what his problems was, he didnt like the fact that we hadnt got our indicator on, its not exactly like we mowed him down!!!!!! I told him that there is a clue in the word car park, look out for the f*cking cars.

Yes Im in an aggro mood aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrhhhhhhhhh!

Hope you get the dent sorted mate, fingers crossed Tesco will pay up.
