f4r head gasket, renault or not?

i am getting the bits together to get my engine back together, is it essential to use a genuine head gasket on the f4r or does anyone no of a quality alternative? same for a belt kit, cheers

I've used non renault without issue. Pretty sure every brand i've used has been from the same manufacturer that renault used though, as they were identical

ok, will use what ever i can get, is ther a measurement for the head bolts or do they have to be new?

will remember that when youre timing it up.lol. you got tools back yet? no panic as you can tell head not on yet

new headbolts are definitely a good idea
