F4r into 16v

How big of a job is it i know few the lads on here done it just wondering like is there anythin i should look out for when fitting the engine or would recommend
doin before fittin it??

I bought a written off 172.

I then took the engine, box, driveshafts, brake calipers, discs, hubs, radiator etc all out of the 172.

It all bolts straight in.

Wiring loom needs to be made yourself. (I cheated and bought one off another member)

You'll need a different alternator bracket (Renault 11 iirc)

How you mean you gotta make your own loom?? iv all the runnin gear of a 172 in the car already have the brackets made for the alternator from makin a 16v clio witout power steering!

The engine loom (172) needs to mate to the valver car loom.

Do you mean a 16v as in a Mk1 1.8 16v, or a Mk2 1.2 16v?

Ah its only a track car man so just gonna run what i need gonna try put the clocks out the 172 in it too mite work out!
