Failed My Mot - Ball joints

How much are these? I need both front ball joints according to my mot lol.

I paid about a fiver each and fitted them myself, not a hard job mate

I thought it was a whole arm, therefore expensive

Na thankfully not mate! That was with trade discount at a local motor factors but they seem to be doing fine, better than my old ones anyway!

There were some quite cheap on Ebay a while ago, could just get them there if they are still on.

Ola and new shape ones are the same (well they look it) there the same as the Scenai and a few other models although part numbers are different from memory.
£35 for new Renault ones or £9 or so from motorfactories etc.

There is no upper one.
Dead easy to change them so long as there no rust otherwsie it can be a paoin easy way to change it is to jack the car up, undo the bolt which goes through the hub and then undo the two bolts which hold it to the suspension arm.

Very true, if they are rusted they are a right pain in the arse.
