Fake Turbo Exhaust Whistler

Now i am firstly going to state clearly, this is not for a perminant fixture!!!!

A mate of mine is in his final year of media production as is makeing a film trailer for his final piece, its about a car film along the lines of Fast and Furious,
he was gunna use my mates nissan sunny turbo, but thats now going in for a respray so wont be road worthy to go out and be filmed, so do these fake turbo things actually sound like a turbo or not, because he wants to use my car but the title of the film is Turbo Nutters or something like that.

And if i did use it would i need 2 (182 twin pipe) ?

as said this is not for real! so dont take the Pi$$!!!!

Surely if he was making a trailer, he could edit the turbo noise in with vegas as a sound effect = more marks.

Personally, I think if you bought this, along with the Saber dump-valve simulator (http://www.saber-edv.com/) as well, you'd be onto an epic win motor.

ha i know is was gunna get abused, i cant expect anything less on cliosport! is vegas a sound editing programme? hes running adobe premier, but i dont know which version

If he's on a final year in media production he'll know how to simply alter the soundtrack; just adding a differenct soundtrack is as easy as dropping a clip under the video footage. Matching it with gearchanges/speed will be harder, but then that might not be necessary (they don't always do this in Hollyblockbusters do they!!!)

well it was just to see if it sounds any good, i guess not, it was just to save time and effort on his half but hes trying to source a good sound clip now, but all his are not good enough quality and too much background noise because of the microphone he used last time.

they don't work, one of my mates got one for his civic for when it got back on the road, i said it would never work, so we tried it on my car and 2 others and it didn't work so save your money mate.

im now gonna get ripped for having tried it on my car lol
