What mods have you made to your cars??

And what products have you used/found for your car??

Doesnt seem to be much out there for this engine, just wondered what stuff other people had done?

Yes S2 PTH has one ! hes got lexus lights and a bloody sweet induction kit ! ask him for sum pics think about £130 for induction kit then he paid like £75 for this comapny to place it properly cut whole in grill make cold air feed! and ill tell u what it soudns the b****cks! sounds bloody amazing !

Ive got a 1.4!!

Just fitted a k-tec ramcharger, its lowered 60mm, 17s, colour coded all round, lexus lights.

Currently for sale!!

There is stuff out for the 1.4 but not much
You can supercharge it for £6k I think the price worked out to be for 160hp.

Ohter mods inculde 1.6 tranplant or least but the other bits you need.

T/b for ~£3.5k

Or normal tunning ie head work cams etc is about £2.5 for about 150hp.

What about exhausts??? Anyone done anything with the exhaust on their 1.4 16V??

So far, I have lowered, 17"s, tints, clear lights, colour coded sides and ICE.

I think an exhausts on the 1.4 gets an honest 10hp as the stock ones quite restrictive.

Mine is completely standard yet is noticble quicker than the the book specs. Just ask any of the Northern Williams owners (Northy, 2Live, flamingmonkey, etc)

I can see someone has been driving Glenns 2.0ltr 16v then eh? TBH April, best of holding out with what youve got until you change the car later on. Its easier to get more power from a performance engine becuase after market products are aimed at that kinda market / people. With the smaller engines demands are not as high i dont think.

On the bright side, i drove Robfenns 1.4 with a ktech zorst & coilovers & filter and i was very impressed with the feel & power for such a small car.

For the money tho i think you should leave it as it is then buy an Rx7 or something later on!!

Just fancied at least a decent exhaust cause I havent even got one at the mo, not that you could tell anyway!! lol

Quite pleased with the power of mine, especilally haven driven other small cars including the 1.2 Clio which I hated incidentally!! Hehe!

Spent a lot of money on my car already and now I am actually liking it again, not planning on getting rid of it for a good while!

And Glenn told me I can drive his car if I want to!! Long as it doesnt involve driving it onto the A12!!!!!! lol

No idea soory be best getting a custom one made maybe from powerflow who make one exactly as you like ie twin exhausts noisy etc. Only slightly more than an of the shelf type would be. You can fit motorbike cams to it if you like the noise of them.

Just back box and pipe then, thats cool anyway. I just want something fairly subtle and not too loud so I can leave it when the time comes to sell it!!
