FAO Any1 who has removed dash

I am trying to remove the dash from my 1.2 16v 2002 extreme but it seam to be stuck at the back where the airbag is, on the passengers side. Anyone got any ideas/clues as to what might be catching? Is there a clip near there?

You need to pull the top segement of the dash forward, this unhooks it for the passeger air bag. Are you trying to fit a remote connection???

Yip. Also thought I might be able to see where to feed a power cable through to my battery for the Alpine HU ive just bought.

You shouldnt need to remove the top completley. Ive done this three times, and each time I have managed to work with the top of the dash lifted once unhooked. Once you can see were your going its dead staright forward.

Thing is I cant get the dash to sit back into place. There is obviously something caught underneath and thought someone might have experienced the same problem?

anyone i know whos taken there dash off always says its never the same again. loads of rattling, but dont know bout clios.

CAnt coment on your probs EK. My dash came off with no probs and has gone back on with no probs and no rattles.
