i'm actually really impressed i got the flame red touch up mixed at halfords and actually looks pretty spot on! especially as i had to guess the paint code lol.

As for the shitty grab handles i'll have to have a little think about it and get back to you as they are a total and utter arse to get right and i literally have the scrape the shitty stuff off with my fingernails as the paint wont stick to it. The ones you can half see in the picture are from my own car.

Yeah looks a very good match in the pics.
Only prob is i'll have to wash the car before putting these on, they'll shine to much.

What colour do people use for the grab handles??

very little, as a rule i charge cost of paint plus postage plus a tenner if its an engine cover (bit more if its gotta be done in 2 colours), and generally a fiverish for badges/inserts. depends on an individual basis. For the silver and black badges you can see i'd charge 15 quid posted for example, for a specialist colour where i'll have to spend loads on a mixed touch up etc it'd be around the 25 quid

As for the handles i found vauxhall star silver a nice colour. Its impossible to match though as the renault silver is matt, adn any matt silver means it cant be laquered and tehrefore willc hip like buggery

do you use halfords paint? I need to get some white and racing blue spray cans, wheres the best place? What white do you use?

I use BMW alpine white, as it has a nice bluish tinge, and as for racing blue i generally use autopaint.co.uk at st helens (especially as it'll have to match your racing blue paint work). Halfords are very hit and miss, i'll only use them if its not gotta match anything lol

Midd you should get some G6 paste, once the lacquer goes off you can smooth the surface out with the G6 so it doesn't look so "sprayed".
Its a really really fine cutting paste that you can buff the nuts off it and it smoothes it all out
