FAO everyone: How did you lower

  Mk2 Golf GTI

Right i know that a full kit will be better than just springs but i am wondering how many people have just gone for springs. It seems that a lot of people dont bother with a full kit so could you just post which you have, cheers.

This is not a tech question, i am just curious. BTW im referring to the Mk2 Ph2 Clio

mines only a 1.2 16v so spped is not really an issue! However, the better it handles the quicker i will be able to take corners. I found this out when i was thrashing my mates pug 106 xsi round some countries in my RT

spirez, if you need them suspension fitting then let me know! I can do it for you if you dont fancy tackling it yourself!!!

As for shocks, if you can afford it then get the full kit, but the std shocks CAN cope with 60mm springs!

cheers fred, ill let you know when ive got the them so we can arrange something. I think ill just get the springs for now and save up for some decent adjustables instead of getting the cheap spax kit. where have people got their springs and for how much? ive seen PIs for £75 and k-tecs for £88

Got for the eibachs, wil improve handling without dropping it too much (-30), standard shocks will be up to the job.
