was only thinking of the one really. Now not being well schooled in the world of ICE this red top battery, would i be correct in saying i can use this to replace my existing battery, or is it for use as an additional battery in a split charge arrangement? If not i assume they come in different sizes and stuff?

Yes you can use it as an original battery replacement and should give you all the power that you need. You can also get other ones called the Yellow Top, Orange Top and Blue Top at various prices but the Red Top is the best for ICE as it has 1050 cranking amps which comes in handy for those long low bass lines.

I have a couple of them in the Evil ICE demo car and they are superb. Also being deep cycle they last a lot longer than normal batteries and being fully discharged and recharged again doesnt damage it like it will on normal acid batteries. Oh and they can be mounted any way round because they are gel filled so wont leak.
