Hi! Right iv downloaded a programme called OnyX which deletes all the shite my macbook has gathered (programme chaches etc) and it also checks it has a clean bill of health. I checked my start up disk and it says it needs repairing. My question is, do macbooks/apples come with the original OSX disk (so say i wanted to reinstall i could use that). Im at work ATM so can't check but i dont remember seeing one either! I have bought apple care if that makes a difference (not even opened that box yet lol)

Yeah my iMac came with a OS DVD which I use to perform repairs or a reinstall if required.

Mine came with a restore disk...

There was a small white box with the manual, setup chart and disc's inside of it.
