FAO Oliman (anyone who might know)

I was wondering.............if engine oil is listed as........say 5 w 40 and the 5 means it has good viscosity at -30 deg and 10 w 40 is good at -20 deg whats the story with gearbox oil like for the V6 listed as 75 w 80?

Just wondering
