FAO: Those with Suede steering wheels? Do you treat them?

i.e did you spray anything on them to help with longevity?
Do you maintain them in anyway?

I know there are some serious clean freaks on here so wondered how they got on with the constant finger marks etc...

Cheers

Are you a serious clean-freak ? ;)

i think when thrashing the car every now and then , the way of driving will then polish the steeringwheel by itself..

seriously ; i've heard of using sandpaper to roughen the suede back up ?

The verdict is.....

"A small amount of AG Interior Shampoo and a damp MF will keep it looking fresh"

Most of them say take it very easy on it. Dont scrub hard or you will ruin it.

If your really worried out gloves on whe you drive lol :p

  An orange one

A damp cloth will be enough for weekly wipe downs, and a mild solution of interior cleaner should lift any grime. There is nothing product wise that will stop it actually wearing.
