faulty speedo

As the title suggests the speedo is faulty,it works but intermittently,can drive for 5 mins with the needle on zero,then pops back up to speed,i`m think its just a loose connection can anyone enlighten me.

sounds like your speedo sensor which is located in the top of the gear box behind the engine. easy 5minute fix and costs about £20

Its ok ebay £20 speedo sensor,done,thanks kevin.s
