Righto, just so we can compare times... if you did a sprint on the track post your BEST run times in here

The timing equipment seemed to be a little out imo... i've managed a 6.73 to 60 before today. Oh well at least all cars will be timed on the same equipment for comparison reasons.

I didn't like the way the lights were operated... I think an orange light in between would have helped loads! could barely see the lights change due to the sun!

the lights meant nothing... the timer began from when you started moving.

i complained about not being able to see the lights, and was told this

there seemed to be lots of loose gravel around the start area which made it hard to get grip.

Nah....I wasn't even there peeps but those were my times at Kirkiston 3 weeks ago...

And some say the V6 ain't quick.....whatever! It's quicker than my old CUP 172 and most other standard RS's and I've driven em all before the Vee. The closes to the Vee is the Megane 225. I was pitched against one of those with a full Janspeed system and other bolt on bits and it was tight!

Matt ran 6.11s to 60 in the run that i saw against the Evo. Looked like a bad start tbh.

I had the crowd amazed when i told them what was under that matt black bonnet! the look on their faces was a treat! lol

yeah that was his first run...

the evo was the quickest for most of the day but didnt that pus cosworth run a better time

yes your right, i've got the sheet here in front of me and kinda mixed together the 1/4 mile and 0-60 time lol.

to clarify my 0-60 was 7.08s

it was hard to start tbh, too much revs and you span... i found it best just to set off from idle in the end

i gave up with the go light after my 1st run... couldnt see it at all so just went when the other person did lol. Lucky you werent timed from when the light went green!

The track was terrible I've wrecked two left ront tyres after a few hours on track.
Circuit was a bit dull needed more corners in it.

some cars looked abit unstable coming down braking just before the right 90 turn in front of the crowds. looked good fun tho wish i did it

Sorry mate, no I didn't take the camera as I only went over that way to try and find the VIP section and thought I'd watch a few runs... think I saw about 4 Ph-Quicks in that time though, including Carbon's... I think

edited as above! totally missed the light and then the car bogged down with revs!
Easily knock 1/2 second of both those times i feel with a proper launch and lighting tree.
Still beat Gweebs though as he had the same problem!

they merely served as a "ok go when you're ready"... the timer started when you crossed the line

The problem with the lights is, you see it as a race, so you go for it when they go!
I missed the lights and dropped the clutch to try and beat gweebs, hence a w**k start!

I prefer the christmas tree style where you can build the revs up in time with the lights!!

it was my first time i ever did a 1/4. was VERY disapointed with my 0-60 time but by the looks of things the car pulled very well in the mid range to hit 15.8 so not too bad i guess.
