Do all 172s have:

Renault Anti Road Rage System (The doors lock as soon as the car goes above 5mph and can only be opened from the inside or with a key!)

and Automatic lights and wipers ?

can turn that off and yes as far as im ware the nwer 172/182s have auto lights etc

All Mk2 172s do. Cups dont have the Auto lights or wipers.

Not sure how reliable Parkers is but could someone explain why most of the features were taken off in Sep 2002, or were they replaced with alternatives?

Is this whats known as RAID? If so the 172 Cup does have it. Sounds like it flys in the face of all safety recommendations though, as its not advised to have the doors locked when driving incase you have a crash and the fire service need to get you out.

I assume it should unlock in an impact but what if the crash busts the mechanism?

Just have to make sure you brake below 5 mph before you crash wont you
