Well thats me officially hooked on the detailing game. Thanks to alan ive managed to pick all this gear up for a VERY good bulk price:approve: Excellent deal by David at Car WashnWax. Very helpful too. Heres the products :

- Lake country 6'' pads (cutting/buffing/finishing)

Great one paul! I would say you need a cutting pad, but the LY looked in good shape! Take it slow but you've got the right kit there.

got all the other wee bits n pieces like masking tape and such but david gave me a brief but good lesson on it. Got some new wax on order too. Dodo juice isnt great tbh. Sarting the car on monday for a FULL detail inside and out. gulp! inside is pretty much spot on atm though

swissvax onyx for a new wax. I bought some thick cloths from i4d. i would like to do the arches but my main thing is a proper paint correction. Chipsaway are coming to sort the car on friday so the dent will be gone.

Im thinking i should maybe keep the car until i can afford the r32. Ill probably get the LY some recaros , 4 pots and a touch lower with a remap and just enjoy it

what do you recommend for the arches and will i need a brush set?

errrr...Just use a combination of AG Machine cleaner/Wheel cleaner...Saves you odering more stuff...You do go through alot tho! So maybe worth getting APC or SuperDeg.

Brush - Good old disk brush! Hard brushes. I used a Swissvax brush for wee bits and other old paint brushes for brakes and springs etc.

nice mate.. ive got my first detailing kit on sat.. auto glym valet kit... im now thinking snowfoam and other shite... this could be dangerous lol
