Ferodo ds pads on 172 ph1

bought Ferodo ds performance (fds406) for clio 172 ph1
Heard that it's need to be polished or i should fit it without some part (safety part, i think it's call can)
Someone has fitted this pads and knows how?

I think I know what you're saying.

Basically the part of the brake pad that makes contact with the carrier (part the pads sit in) sometimes needs the paint filing off otherwise they won't fit, and you will need to remove the little metal piece that the pad sits in too for them to fit (called anti rattle shim)
