can these pads be fitted to the standard discs as mine are pretty much new and dont need replacing?

also what is the best fluid to buy, fast road/ trackday ???

ANy decinet fluids fine to use loads of people have personal favourities mine the Castrol dot 4 super response £10 or so Demon tweeks is the only place I know thats seels it Halford sused to.

Yep no problem with fitting though.

DS2500 pads will work fine on standard disks if you are thinking of going on track with your car i would recommend fitting braded hoses as for your brake fluid dot 4 and above should be fine if you do decide to fit braded hoses the best place for all your brake bits is www.yozzasport.co.uk if you speak to Fred or Andrew they are more than helpful and forth coming with any advice with your car .

Go with what edde recommended - Castrol DOT4 Super Response.

And stay away from race fluid unless you're prepared to bleed the brakes regularly to get the water/air out.

Not familiar with that one.

Though I am aware that normal "race" fluid will absorb more moisture, and therefore boil and give air bubbles, as in normal race use, brakes would be bled before each outing.

I might be talking rubbish though

What I can say is that a freshly charged and bled system, running braided lines, Castrol DOT4 Super Response fluid, and Pagid Blue pads on Brembo GrpN disc will have you headbutting the windscreen all day long...even at Bedford.

Do a search for what BenR has to say about brake fluid to get a proper authorative answer.

my set up will be: Braided lines (goodridge), castrol dot4 super response fluid, ds2500 pads, standard discs,

cancelled the ap551 and ordered the castrol instead lol

Spot on unless you do Bedford GT as they will fade there.

ds2500 with ap600 fluid cant go far wrong for fast road track I use these with carbon metalics on front for my racer
