as said rich is your man, but if im being honest you cant go wrong iwth the 2 bucket method, then srp is a good polish, then egp, and also dpending on your budget a good wax, megs #16 is a good basic wax that comes up well.
many uses for micro fibre towels such as drying the car, buffing polished and waxes etc and also applying if your arent using a rotary machine etc.
i only know the basics but am sure rich will inform you further.
