  LY V6 with Recaros
That looks nice, I think I would colour code it, but it does actually look alright as it is :)

Nice job, its subtle and not trying to be something its not, well maybe apart from no back seats.Stick a V6 in that back ;~) nice one boyo!

very nice, don't think you should colourcode it, usually would suggest that but here it makes it stand out...

think its prime for a conversion though

  RenaultSport 172.
:D

thanks ....

gav, think ill stick with the turbines...think the 17'' may look abit big ? and possibley rub! if your at the starcity meet ill have a look there!

yeah, thanks freebone, quite a few people have suggested colour coding, and after a few photoshops i think i prefere the black bumpers...mmmm, engine conversion....would like too, but possibley too much hasell? replace engine...rear axel so it can run disks....e.t.c....whats the biggest engine i could run without having to change the rear axel e.t.c.....is it going to be a 1.4?

  RenaultSport 172.
doesnt the 1.8 8valve run disks on the rear though?

preff want something that would drop straight into it!

  RenaultSport 172.
the bumpers are black...as black as they can get...

its just the strip under the winderscreen that has faded big time! , but with some meguires back to blak stuff, its eventually coming back :D looks better each wash!

That looks superb.

I have never understood young lads who spend thousands on adding sh!t to their car which achieves nothing other than to make it look crap and slow it down when you can spend very little, remove bits and make it quicker and more appealing to the trained eye.

I'm not sure why the rear axle is an issue in terms of a conversion though. With cars' as small as the Clio, the rear discs will have very little effect anyway but with a stripped rear end, discs will only lock up even more readily as there is so little weight in the back.

WinstonBadass ....Would make a good sleeper ;)

and thats whats its going to be in the summer....:p bigger engine, decaled up as a 1.2....cant go far wrong! just got to do a bit of research into what i can relistically run and what i cant ...:p

rob192Nice rims ;)
cheers rob, theyre eventually on! took 8 hours per wheel to sand down, but after that, went on well easy...look preety good tbh! :D..and it was a nice drive up to wherever we met lol...cant remeber now ?

cheers dude....about a month ago, i could see my car going the wrong way...working at halfords its easy to go down the wrong path :approve: hehe. but yeah, its sort of subtle, however still all there to be noticed to the trained eye as you say. not too sure, if i could use the 16v with my drums, id much rather not, however i know i could use them with the 8v. heard there was only half a second between them both? either way, the jump from a 1.2 to a 1.8 is going to be fun :D

just hate it when you get some chav comin up to you going ' mate, thats a s**t bag, why you driving that...? its w**k......you need a bodykit and some 13'' steels man, complemented by some stupid flashing lights....ill race you in my nova' thats what someone preety much said to me last nyt to a trip to maccies! TW@T! would off, but seems he was in a sri, and i was in my 1.2...id of lost....meaning him laughin even more...just laughed at him and walked away...

Adams_16vthats pretty sweet mate, i like!

cheers dude

looks fookin awesome mate. only thing i would say is dont mount ur harnesses to the strut brace, in the event of a crash, if the back end is twisted they could be pulled tight and cud crush you, mount them to the rear seat belt fixtures.

apart from that, awesome!!!

cheers dude. i was wondering about saftey e.t.c...and was told if it will pass the MOT its safe enough for britain standards agency like.....it passed its MOT the other day, no problem, so im guessing its ok? only thing is there is no way of mounting them to the origional mounts :s

i dunno weather or not itll pass an mot, even so i wouldnt feel safe knowing the potential was there to have my ribcage crushed, lol. I have no idea how to mount them to the original mounts either, presumably theres some kind of adaptor doo-daa for that, ud have to speak to sum1 else with harnesses mate, sorry, lol.

  RenaultSport 172.
just going to leave the harness's mounted as they are. been like that for 6 months, and no problems , so....itll be ok..

just concentrating on the engine conversion atm to make my car a sleaper :approve:

Leave it as it is looks nice enough, BBS wheels would cost more than the car mate

And i hope your not planning on putting that sticker on the sill! :rasp:

, tempted to get the turbines polished up..:) my mate has some th mono's on his mk2 golf, and they look the don polished- against a red car. so, hopefully the turbines would look fresh upagainst my car polished....

havnt got a clue on its weight.,,,,shaved quite abit off it....the new seats weight nothing, as does the strut brace...2 people either side can pick the rear up no problem so that gives you an idea :approve:

ill hunt out the fishing scales later on, and whack my car on them....see how much it weighs....or may just get the scales from out the bathroom hahaha
