FIA Cut off switch

I'm going to be fitting a FIA cut off switch in the next few days, I'll be using the yellow cable to the igniniton switch as it's a 4 post switch.

I'm just wondering what size cable to use from the ignition switch as it seems quite big 4mm outside diameter to be exact which would indicate its 12awg cable which seem a bit excessive since it's only fused with a 15amp fuse. Halfords sell 27amp cable which i think should be sufficient but just want to confirm this first.

Im using 12AWG from an amp wiring kit with yellow solder-sleeve terminals.
