Finally got a 182!

After several years of faffing about! Remember looking at the 172 when they first came out and loved them. Bought a saxo vts back when they were the best affordable hot hatch. Then when the 182 came out a mate bought an inferno cup and track prepped it, seemed quite fun around the 'ring. Then i looked around for a black cup packed 182 but couldn't find one i was happy with so settled for some VAG tdi130 crap and then now after getting bored of larding around corners i have a Trophy

To expand a little on previous cars:
AX 1.0i later converted to 1.6 rallye power
106 XSi
E30 318iS
Saxo diesel
Saxo VTS, later with 160bhp, recaros, cage, full track spec.
Saxo VTR with 185bhp vts engine, cage, diff, slicks etc(Still got)
Fabia vRS
Now Clio trophy and the mad saxo for track work.

Clio was standard when i got it. Now has MPS aerial, silvatec indicator bulbs all round and just ordered some focal components, pioneer high end HU and steering wheel loom. Future mods i'm not sure would like a BTB system but matt(fmp on here) said he needs to order 10 so it's likely there'll never be another batch made And a nice carbon airbox of some sort.

In for some warranty work on thursday - Exhaust(cat i think), ecu bracket and drivers door mirror. Let's see if renault can sort it out...

I never use car dealers apart from warranty work, you pay through the nose for poor service and workmanship most of the time. Mainly due to the way the places are run. So i'll be servicing it myself once the warranty is up, then i know it's been done properly and on time, and some scrote hasn't been thrashing my car around while it's in there.

At work now will put pics up at some point later.

Will definitely look after this car, i am using it as a daily driver and do lots of miles so the majority of the miles are in 5th between 40 and 60mph at light throttle, averaging 42mpg at the moment which i reckon's quite good. Had it up to 53 over 15 miles last night being extremely careful, with a max at 65... Will change oil regularly and do anything that needs doing to keep it mint, like regular detailing.
