Finally got my 182

Picked it up yesterday, its a black 182 with 55,000 miles on the clock. Took me ages to find someone who would take my Volvo S70 in part exchange but i did it and after parting with £4000 its now mine.

Only thing i've found i don't like with it is the car being black it shows up all the stone chips very easily, but thats not enough to put me off the car. Just after a day of driving its so much nicer to drive than my Ph1 172 was, the handling is amasing and with all the toys its a pleasure to drive.

Congrats mate. Sounds just the same as mine. Apart from in the sun you will prob find swirl marks gallore like I did. Enjoy cleaning it every week like I do lol.

Black is the best colour when it is clean, but the worst to keep clean. I had a black gold 182 2 and a half years ago and just a week ago today got myself a titanium 182. Kinda wish I had got a black one again but it was too good a car to pass up.

Its a 54 reg and came from Bexhill so it was only half an hour from me. Went to halfrauds yesterday and got some colour match wax for it so i can hide the chips, only been driving it for less than 48 hours and its filthy already. But living in the countryside with horses, tractors and mud just generally everywhere its never been easy.
