Finally Got One But Hows It Fitted ?

Well today i went and spent a whole £10.00 on the front skoda splitter (Pt No - 5J0 807 061 9B9) from my local TPS.


My question is how have people fitted theres and what have they used ?

Have people started at the middle of the bumper/splitter and worked there way to the edges and then cut off the over hang ?

Have people started at one side and worked there way round and then just cut off one edge ?

Oh and the box is just HUGE

self-tapping screws, job done!
I lined up the middle and screwed that in then worked out from that!

Self tappers. Tape it to the bumper and line it up until you are happy with it then start screwing it on then cut the edges off. Takes half an hour max

i ordered mine tuesday should be here tomorrow so looks like ill be fitting it at the weekend

I cut the little sticky up tab bits off so it would sit flush, then held it up to the bumber (use tape if your on your own) Then used self tappers, put one bang in the middle then worked my way outwards. Then trimmed off excess.

yeah, i worked with them and i also know all the guys before that as they all used to work for renault and when i worked for Vw / Audi i bought from them all the time. The Only sell to people that are in the trade and have an account.

TPS are superb, I bought a new engine from them for my Lolf GTnaw.
