Finally Got The Cup!

Hi guys,
Finally got my cup today but would like some advice on servicing? its a 52 plate with 18500k on the clock, imaculate condition but had its only service at Renault in Feb 04, i know this could do with a service, but how much are we talkin?
p.s got the car for £6k

£150 to £200 or so depends where you go to Renault or not.

Cambelt is expensive expect to pay about £400 from a none dealership and £500 or so from a dealership.

bargain price, I'd get some nice fully synth oil in it and leave the service until the scheduled 24k - as Edde said it will be £150-£200
deffo don't bother with the aux & cam belts until much later...

From what I can gather with the cups, Renault advise the aux belt to be done at 36K, Cam belt to be done at 72K...but the Aux belt has been known to last till 50K (or so someone said!) at 18K, shouldn't be a problem. save your cash till the 36K service, then you're looking about £300 - £450 dependant on where you go. Mike @ Rentech does it for about £300 and as a member on here, and owning his own business, he won't give you shoddy service like a stealer would, and you get a stamp in the old service book as he uses gen renault parts..although he is in Portsmouth.

The AUX belt used to be chnaged at 72k but after a which Renault realised it was a mistake AUX belts had failed at 50k and Renault had to pay for them. So they chnaged the service interval for the AUX belt to 36k
