The guy at the garage mentioned this..... are my symptons diagnosing a wheel bearing problem?

if its a droaning noise that you can still hear when not in gear then im 90% sure its a bearing

Yeah, when i drop it out of gear into neutral and slow down i can hear it still...

I'm not sure on the back, I would assume it's easier than the front. But a mate and I changed both front bearings easy enough. You do need to get them pressed into the hub which isn't a DIY job. Maybe someone a bit more clued up could clear it up...
