finance and car breakers

not sure what section to put this in hopefully get some answers in this one!
i'm planning on putting a two litre into my car but i've already got a loan through my bank.was wondering since it's over a thousand pounds for the bits is their any breakers anyone know's of that will give finance before i have to go back to the bank

sounds tempting mate i'd have to do what you say an cut it up though or i could see a set of 2litre coilvers and 4pots along with it!
only thing is though i don't have credit cards(not good with money) but afaik the limits on them are pretty low and i would need to make a purchase of between 1000 to 2000 pounds can't see the limits anywhere on the link any idea

No i could not see the limits either, when i had a Mint card the limit was £4,000 from new, even if it has only got a £1,000 - £2,000 limit, at least that will restrict your spending.:D

found out the limit will be at least 500 so might try it mint sounds more tempting though!
shame their arn't any breakers do it sure they could make quite a bit of money on here,at the end of the day these kinds of places have moved on from "scrappys" their dealing with valuable stuff would be a handy option to have!

I'm with Mint mate. Based on what you plan to do, I'd get the card, setup a direct debit to pay a decent chunk each month, buy what you need and then cut it up.

You'll have it paid in no time, have the bits for you car and won't end up buying anything you don't need. :)

ah what the hell am going to apply for one!
ideally i'm going to take the car off road for a couple of weeks around june so trying to get the bits sorted for then,on their website though it does say credit limit can be up to 15k!hmmm coilovers,exhaust,decat....what have i started hehe!
