Fitted the 40mm springs yesterday, and my nice new wheels. Think It needs to go down another 20mm though! :o Just a few pics.

Any suggestions of bits to do to her? I want it to sit like Bifcaids!

Looks mint mate, I think the only thing it needs is more lows, other then that it's lovely! Good job well done!

wow! this is looking great, not seen the progress thread for a little while but its really come on well! im all out of suggestions to be honest apart from trying to lower it another 20mm or so like you said. great work!

really really like this, probly my favorite non sport on here, just looks so smart

front fogs would finish it

aww, thanks very much al! :) And cheers very much guys.

Yeh, i think i may need to lower a wee bit more! I dont like arches sitting on the tyres, just a nice gap & not one i can fit a lunchbox in ;)

Wheels -- look pony

I would have gone for a mint set of 172 wheels- keeping the OEM look-

not sure which way to take it atm! Got my eye on an rs kit, just need to get the service/cambelt done on the vee then I'll know what monies I have!

This is brilliant a real mini restoration project.

so,so clean looks brand new and im a big fan of the wheels really suit the car. :)

Those wheels look ace!!!! You were one lucky fucker snapping those up. Let me know if you ever sell them ;)

I think the wheels make it look a bit tame, Not sure what kind of look your going for though.

Could do with being dropped on its arse to pull off the alloys more, Or just a nice drop on some other alloys.

Done a nice job on the colour coding, The front inserts don't seem to have much shine to them though? ;)

I think it looks very smart :)

As you mentioned, maybe a little lower; think that would make a pretty big difference :)

Yeh, thank Halfords paint for the great colour match :( Didn't have as much time to spend on the front bumper inserts.

Fubar, where? :(

JoeyD, pm me a price please bud :)

Thanks all

I might have some 60mm Springs for sale soon, but im unsure if springs from a Ph1 1.2 will fit a Ph2...

have you just dropped it on springs? or have you got uprated dampers too? i wanna drop mine but i'm not sure whether to invest in both springs and dampers.... but anyway, the car looks sexy as f**k... its sooooo shiney ha

just springs yeh, im new to this whole thing! Does it make a difference with different dampeners?

Not too keen on the wheels now they are on if I am honest. As said lower is the way to go, I would scrap 60mm springs and get a set of coilovers! Cheap enough :)

my springs might be up for sale soon. well, they will be WHEN i get the coilovers! :D they're 60mm ish.

not too low! but....they're bouncy. very bouncy!

cheers for the comments

If springs from a Ph1 non sport will fit iv just removed them from my old car, £85 posted and there urs :)

Been on car since feb and done 5000Miles.

The coilovers are £175 but then you get a 10% discount if you mail them and say your from clio sport which is what i did! :)
