Finishing Polished Metal

not sure if its the right section, so here goes:

got a pre-polished plenum off MrStabby and whilst i wait for my car i thought i'd give it a proper 'ott' polish. have been using autosol and a dremel to get the bigger marks and dirt off, but what can i use to give it a proper chrome finish before i put some auto glym super resin on?

and is something like silvo, or meguiars metal polish likely to be more/less aggressive than the autosol.

I use Autosol/Autoglym metal polish with wire wool, then Meguiars NXT applied by foam pad and then finish off with AG SRP on a soft cloth, which seems to work well stepping down to a good luster.

Rich you mention the NXT, am I right in thinking that's the NXT Metal Polysh?
