easy solution to this
make a bookmark in your bookmarks toolbar called "new tab" and edit it to be your homepage
then when you want a new tab, just right click and open in new tab.

to much work :rasp:

i mite have a go at writin it myself later, but me + anythin code like, normally results in something gettin broken.

I want it as my mouse is a whole foot away from my keyboard and its a lot quicker to control+T for a new tab than it is to do it with the mouse. So a plugin that loads my homepage when i press control + T would be mint :¬)

Create a homepage bookmark on the "bookmarks toolbar" and press it once with the middle mouse button/scroll wheel and it will open your homepage in a new tab.

1 mouse click.. That's all.

i use 'tab mix plus' which is very comprehensive and keeps track of the pages you had when you closed FF last and even it crashed, loads of other options, worth a look!
