First detail

Wanted to give the car a decent wash today because it was a bit of a state. I don't think the previous owner took much care of it because the paint is quite swirled.

Got some turtle wax wash, polish and wax from halfords on 3 for 2, because I'm skint, and really wasn't expecting miracles from the £8 I spent. Also bought a waffle towel and a clay bar which was another £15 but will last a while.

Also, still quite new to this and didn't want to spend loads of money on stuff I don't know how to use properly, but having read a few detailing threads on here I figured I'd give it a go.

Rinsed, washed using TBM, clayed, washed again, then dried with a waffle towel, polished and waxed. I'm really pleased with the result, it's really shiney so can only imagine how good it would look with some decent polish and wax.

The clay bar has made a massive difference, the paint feels incredibly smooth.

Wheels still need some attention because there's a lot of burned on crap which I'll have to sort out next week.

The first picture shows the car before, it's not particularly dirty because I like to keep it clean (mostly jetwash :dapprove: ) but looks a bit flat and dull, and the second shows one of the wheels. Not sure what that greasy stain is, doesn't look good though!

The rest are afterwards when it's clean.

Looks good mate. I done mines the day came out great spent seven hours! But unlike you I got carried away with the spending. Although in the end I did not even use much product. Could probaly do it another six times with the polish and wax I got easily. Going to get some pics up later on although by the time I finished the sun was going down so my final pics were not done justice!! Will get some Tomorrow when I make a start on the interior.
