I quite like the VX, but I'd always wish I'd gone for the Lotus. But to much function over form for me. The Lotus is just sexy.

The K Series isn't all that bad. My old Rover 200Vi had one and that was fine. There's so many of them about there's bound to be a fairly high failure rate showing up on forums. What most people don't mention is how they are looked after or the mods they do. It's like the Impreza they have a similar rep but it's all down to the mods people bodge onto them.

The thought of a 2005 111R was in the back of my mind but at £23k that is really pushing it to be honest.

I managed to stop myself going to look at one yesterday (okay so I was hung over) so I'm hoping to wait until next year now, at least I'll be 30 and have lost 3 points on my license.
