Car had it first MoT today.
IT FAILED
on 3 things1. NS Rear Shock Absorber Leaking
2. Exhaust Silencer Loose
3. Handbrake not engaging
Luckily I took it to the my local Renault dealer to do the MoT.
The Rear Shock was replaced under warranty & then they sorted the silencer & handbrake out for me.
So now its passed
Just glad I had my MoT done before the warranty runs out on the 4th Oct.
They only charged me for the MoT too - £40 a little bit more expensive than some ... but no labour charges
They still have the car at the mo as they are replacing the cambelt, pulleys etc.. under warranty, as I had the terrible squealing at low revs.
I will have to pay something towards it, as the warranty company will not pay for absolutely everything. It will cost me between £15 - £50.
Hopefully will get the car back Friday evening/Saturday morning
so I can come to Southend on Sun
