First Propper Detail

Well, :newbie: here.

Have been collecting all the bits together over the last week, for today’s clean I used
  • Chemical Guys Extreme body washnwax
  • Sonus Green Clay
  • Sonus Glyde Detailing Lubricant
  • Chemical Guys All in one polish
First job was to tackle the wheels, they haven’t been cleaned for a while and had a lot of break dust on them, hosed them down and used AG tar remover on them and worked really well although on one alloy hasn’t got all the dirt off.

After the wheels were done i gave that car a good hose down and then used the two bucket method to clean it with the chemical guys shampoo.
Then out came the clay, was first time using Clay and was surprised how much dirt was on the paintwork even after cleaning and how much smoother the paint work was with only using the mild green clay.

Then polished using the Chemical Guys All in one polish.

Not the best pics im afrad, is getting dark. Would appreciate any tips/pointers on what would benefit the car cleaning wise.

once you pop the fun dont stop. I was quite happy wahsing my car with flash car shampoo and a bloody sponge.

Now i just cant help but wash it correctly.

Looks good, try some Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner on the wheel that is giving you grief.
