Hey ppl!
just had my first drive in a 172 cup! Pulls like a train! awsome!
I liked it but one thing was bugging me! how long does it usually take for the rev limiter to rise after start?
we had gone out been driving for about 10 mins the water temp was in the middle i go to boot it for the first time and we hit the limiter about 6800...went again
same thing..it would never go over 6800.....wat do u make? I have got amore to look at just put me off a bit!

I think that is where the limiter is set.

I aint too sure if you can change the limiter setting either?

you have to wait until the oil is up to temp. Takes around 15-20 minutes to be properly heated. Rev limiter goes up around 10 mins.

It can take up to 20mins before it increases the limiter - good thing really shouldnt be thrashing the engine from cold

ok fair enough! i thought i had waited a while! guess it takes a bit longer..didn't get a chance to open her up in the last half as there was a fair bit of traffic. will bear that in mind! thanks!

This guy obviously pushes his clio sport to the max lol.

Dude how you not know where rev limit is at? On a standard RS clio its 7,250 and on remapped RS clios its 7,800.
