fittament on a 172 cup?

hi just wondering what the spec is on a cup im complete novice to wheels so apologies if ive worded this like a tool
but looking for et ect

basically seen some wheels with the following and wondering if theyd fit my cup 4x100 15x7 et37
and also whats required to make vag wheels fit my cup

What wheels have you have seen? the specs quoted is right, you just need to ensure bore is corect at 60.1 (it's common)

VAG different PCD? PCD is essential to be right otherwise adaptors needed. I think VAG is 108?

ET is important to me (but not to many)- it means the wheel center is the same and ensures suspension is at the cottect geometry. 172 cup is ET38 so that is fine.

alot of wheels ive seen on edition 38 are 4x100 what would be needed if bore is not the same and i guess if an et was higher than 38 i would need spacers?
