Just fitted seats and got both lights on. I have connected 2 cables under both front seats but there is 1 still hanging down. How do i fix this problem people?

Cheers if you can help

I think you will need to get the airbag module reset or something. I never bothered sorting it after I fitted my bucket seats to be honest you soon get used to the them. Stuff like that has never bothered me though so have never seen it as an issue.

Im sure someone will come along and help you out mate but don't think its as straight forward as you would like. pretty sure it needs plugging in to have the lights knocked out not sure tho so don't quote me on it.

Yeaa i know mate, ive read some guides but i aint got resistors. My other seats had airbags so i thought it wud be straight swap. But its not

It will but in the event of an accident your insurers will thank you.

I'd take the pre-tensioners from your old seats and swap them so no airbag light and you're covered.

Even though i got pre-tensioners on my 172 seats if i swap them with my dynamique seats the light will go off?

That's what I did for both seats and I have no airbag/serv light.

You'll need to remove a side cover via a torx 20 at the back of the seat, then the pre-tensioners are torx 35 iirc.

Then just remove all wires, but on the drivers side runners you'll find a switch/sensor try to be careful when removing it, it snaps quite easily.

Then just put your old pre-tensioners back in and plug them into their respective clips from the seat well.

If this doesn't work maybe get a diagnostic to see the problem and wipe off the error, I doubt you'll need to do that unless something else is triggering the light.

All this is easier with the seats either unbolt from chassis or seats unbolted from the runners whichever you prefer to do.
