Fitted an RS grill but...

On the standard grill it had this button on, connected via a plug to wiring:

What's it for? Is it something to do with the alarm?

The RS grill doesn't have it, if it's important could i just drill through and fit the button in the same place? :S

That's for the alarm. When the bonnet is released it open circuits setting off the alarm. Yes just install it to your new grill

You'll have to take it back off and drill a hole in it else your alarm will go off all the time (or you could tape the switch in down for now).

As said just drill a new hole for it.

Mine was £42.75, just gave them the part no, and had to pay straight away, not upon delivery.
