Fitted new dephaser and

Fitted a new dephaser from renault dealer and cambelt kit an with correct locking tools and i the car feels alot slower

Anyone else had this trouble

My only guess is the old knocking pully was so worn and advanced it was holding back more on vtec before it kicks in but it definitely pulled alot more with the old one in lol

Also is not was it was timmed rong the looking pin locked in on the cams and on the crank just is really weird anyone got any thoughts

crank pin in the wrong hole.

It locked up mate lol and came off and went back on the same way was all locked up mate.... Pin only goes in one hole till it locks up both ways

Opse sorry hanging around with my mates to much all they go on about is vtec lol

But yet i used locking tools but it went back on the same way it came off so should be spot on but it's definitely slower id say its least lost 10bhp

Sorry english teacher i ment rong, im a little busy so hence the wrong spelling, but on the other hand this is bugging me now as ive done a few of these now and all been spot on plus been a silver master tech nearly 10 years before anyone makes out i dont know what im doing lol

The crank pin can go in the wrong hole. As there is a balance hole not far from the locking hole. I'm with bloke on this, I reckon you got the balance hole.

I've got the wrong hole before. She was not happy. Lol
