When thry are off how can you tell a xenon from a non xenon ?? I often see folk on say things like 'no xenons' how can you tell ? I've no idea.

It's better with them, but I agree about that front plate.

Mine fitted make a funny pattern on the road at night, its hard to explain but they shine down onto the road and about 6-8ft infront of the car the light makes a /_/--/_/ shape, like a 'W' basically they dont fade out in a smooth line, is this normal or are there any adjustments that can be made?

On its ass Can go lower rear abot 10mm, front about 20, but hhappy with it, no catching etc

Xenons are overrated on the Clios. I had a 172 Cup and much prefered them to the Xenon'd 182 that replaced it (cup-packed).They look pretty, but in reality, a set of uprated Halogens H7's in the Cup offer better light output. They can be adjusted iirc by a white allen key type adjuster on each cluster

yeh i noticed that white plastic allen key slot, mite have a play with them at the weekend, but agreed they are not as good in terms of light output as my Lupo GTi ones seem to be.

This is how my xenons look on the road at night, notice the zig zag beam pattern, is that normal or should it shine a smooth faded out beam from left to right? Dosent look as though its shining up either into the road ahead...more like down onto the road....

As said mate, i dont see the benefit of having washers? Are they necessary?

Ahh right, don't know mate, your better off asking someone that has them, although my car never gets dirty to a point where it affects the light output of my headlights so personally don't see the point.

I have no idea what the master potter estate looks like hahaha, but i used to work at jcb compact products.
