Fitting 1.2 16 valve engine into mark 1

  Clio 1.2 mark 1
I have a mark 1 1.2 Clio RL Oasis

Is it a big problem fitting a 1.2 16 valve engine from a mark 2 phase 2 into my mark 1 Clio?

Also my car doesnt have a power steering and tbh it doesnt need it so would run just as fine without it?

would i need to replace any other parts except from the engine and gearbox?

would wiring and loom be an issue?

you will need the whole lot.. the engine / loom / ECU / maybee dash loom / key / box

shud be quiet fast tho..

mk2 ph2 arnt light and it still pushes them along nicely

so a waighless mk1 shud be quiet fun :)

should be able to get away with a flashed or emulated ecu instead of using the mk2 dash wiring and key etc..

Dont think it will work tbh without re wiring the whole car due to the mk2 multiplexed wiring?

Maybe wrong though
