Fitting a FSE Power Boost Valve to a 1.2

Hi there, Ive got a FSE Power Boost Valve and want to have a go fitting it myself.

I know people have mixed feelings about the FSE Power Boost Valve, but can anyone give me an idea of how to fit it? I managed to pick it up for £50, as its the next sensible mod to my motor. Ive got a PiperX IK and a K-Tec zorst. Without chipping it there isnt much more I can do.

Has anyone fitter one to a 2001+ 1.2 16v? Does anyone have any pictures? Any help you can give is greantly appreciated.

Cheers

Steve

I was contemplating putting one of these on my valver, but was warned against it for a few reasons.

1) It would need to be adjusted using a rolling road/fuel pressure gauge to get it set up correctly. BB tunning do this but its not cheap (£185 for the valve and fitting)

2) If you havent had many mods done that require more fuel you dont really need one.

IMO they are worthwhile, but, they need setting up properley on a rr.

No point fitting them otherwise, cos theyll make no difference or infact make it run worse.

No point on any car really, unlesss its had more work done to it. Its only a adjustable fule regulator.

a new 1.2 16v hasnt got a fuel regulator on the injection rail(its now part of the tank sender unit) and only has a feed to the rail not a return as well so you wont be able to fit a boost valve.
