Now I am an expert at this....!! :approve: And YES, actually fitting my mountain bike in the back of the Vee on the engine cover..!! In fact I was out in the Vee with the mountain bike on Sunday just gone....

1) Declip the wheels
2) Take off the pedals
3) Wrap the frame in a couple of sheets
4) Slide the frame in forks first
5) Place the wheels in separate sheets and place on top of the frame
6) Pedals and spanner in a bag..!!

DONE..!!! :D

I did loads of mountain biking in the last 8 months transporting it to Wales etc., in the Vee..! half the fun getting the bike in..!!

Enjoy your ride...and good luck..!!

I could fit the big kona stab supreme in the back of my old clio, i used to just take the back wheel off and throw it in, fitted just nicely and took up enough room that it didn't move about. Haven't had a bike in the back of the 182 though.

Easily. Seats down and a sheet to keep the car clean. Then wheels off and you'll fit two bikes, two riders and a weekends worth of kit in.

i did it with a all wheels on
but the passenger seat started to piss me off as i had it leaning forward and every time i braked i thought it would come off the runners
