fitting a new accelerator cable

how hard is it to do? The route looks pretty simple, is it simlar to the clutch cable, i.e. theres a plastic bit that pushes into place in the bulkhead? I can only see the cable dissapear near the bulkhead and no sign of a hole that it goes through at first glance.

same as the clutch.. easy till u get to the pedal end.. then ..
